Can image numerous organs including the heart, larger vessels, tumors, etc. Includes B-mode, M-mode, anatomical M-mode, Pulsed Doppler including color Doppler, Tissue Doppler, EKV mode for temporal resolution as high as 10,000 frames/sec, 3D imaging and volume analysis using ECG gating, strain imaging (i.e., speckle tracking) and analysis and nonlinear contrast imaging via Vevo CQ software. The system also contains a non-rebreathing anesthesia device (modified Bain circuit) that uses isoflurane. Price for unassisted use is per hour while assisted use is per mouse.
CCVR core has 3 scanheads: 1) MS400: 28 MHz with adjustable focal length providing an axial resolution of 55 um - used in cardiac imaging in adult mice 2) MS250: 18.5 MHz with 17.5 mm focal length providing an axial resolution of 85 um - used in cardiac and abdominal imaging in large rat 3) MS550S: 44 MHz with adjustable focal length providing an axial resolution of 40 um - used in mouse vascular, abdominal, superficial embryonic imaging and small mouse cardiac
