Of Anatomy and Cell BiologyFacilities: CMF Mei Ling Chen, M.D. is an experienced pathologist who was a Research Professor in the Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Director of the Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope (CLSM) Core Facility at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is experienced in CLSM and electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization. She is also an expert in molecular biology techniques including PCR, RT-PCR, DNA cloning and sequencing. She has published more than 80 papers in peer reviewed journals. Her major research interest is concentrated in prostate cancer. She is available for LSM 510 demonstrations, scanning service, scanning assistance, training new users, consultation on fluorescence staining, in-situ hybridization and PCR in-situ. She can help the users analyze and explain the images obtained from the LSM 510 at cellular and histological levels. |
