Kristina L. Jarosius

Ms. Jarosius's early work was in Clinical Pathology carrying out diagnostic electron microscopy, instructing residents in ultramicrotomy and assisting in animal surgery. During the time she has been with the RRC, she has operated RCA, Hitachi, Philips, and JEOL microscopes with Kevex and Noran EDX systems. She has developed expertise in the operations and maintenance of facilities instrumentation and provides technical services (including training and consultation) to faculty students, staff and industry. She is presently involved with colleagues in developing specimen preparation techniques for biological and material science analysis with the new field emission, high resolution, scanning electron microscope.

In addition to Ms. Jarosius's B.S. Biological Sciences degree, she is also a Microscopy Society of America Certified Electron Microscopy Technologist.
